ECAT Riders Donate 9,000 Pounds!

(Pensacola, Fla.) - Escambia County Area Transit (ECAT) hosted a 3-week “Ride to Feed” Food Drive to support Manna Food Bank and their effort to provide meals for the less fortunate in our community.

During the 3 weeks, ECAT collected two or more non-perishable food items from the riders. In exchange, the ECAT ride was free.

On Thursday, December 13, 2007, ECAT delivered 9,080 pounds of food to Manna Food Bank, 116 East Gonzalez Street, Pensacola, Florida 32501.
