North versus South or East versus West

Palafox Street and Cervantes Street determine whether Pensacola streets are north or south and east or west. For example, if facing north, any street east (to the right) of Palafox Street is east. Any street west (to the left) of Palafox is west. For example, East Wright Street versus West Wright Street. If facing north, any street south of (below) Cervantes Street is south. Any street north (above) Cervantes Street is north. Example: South Palafox Street versus North Palafox Street.

All ECAT routes have a route map and route schedule. When looking at the route schedule, you will see the major time check points listed across the top of the schedule. These are indicated with numbers and the location or streets intersecting that location. The numbers on the route schedule correspond with a number/location on the route map. The time listed on schedules is the earliest time the bus will depart that bus stop.

There are many more stops than those listed on the schedule and map, but by finding the nearest stop listed on the schedule, you can estimate when the bus will reach your bus stop. If you need assistance with ECAT routes and schedules, call Customer Service, 850-595-3228.
